Carpet Cleaner Tips

Carpet cleaning tips

Read time:2mins

Why use it?

Properly cleaned and maintained carpets, can last 3 times longer than what vacuuming alone can do. Most carpet manufactures would recommend professional cleaning every year, but why pay  for someone else to do it, when you can do it yourself.
Deep cleaning not only removes dirt, but can clean the air in a room too. It removes allergens, dust and other debris that a typical vacuum can never reach.

How does it work?

Before you begin any cleaning, it is best to test a small inconspicuous section of carpet just to make sure the chemical cleaning solution used doesn’t cause any damage.

The cleaning solution is the first out of the nozzle on the machine, then a high-pressure jet of water cleans deep into the carpet, then it is vacuumed out.  Unlike other carpet cleaners, it won’t leave a residue behind, your carpet will be slightly damp for around 15mins after the cleaning. Don’t worry that  the moist carpet will become mouldy, it won’t due to the chemicals used in the cleaning process.

Should I still vacuum after deep cleaning?

Yes, now that the carpet is spotless, it is best to give it a vacuum every few days. Invest in some micro-fibre cloths to blot up any spillages. Never rub stains on the carpet, this will only make them worse.

With the old wives tale, spilt some red wine? Dont waste any more , let it dry and use our carpet cleaner to clear the mess up.
